New Higurashi OVA coming for 10th anniversary

Has it been that long? Not quite, the 10th anniversary of Higurashi no Naku Koru ni (English title: When They Cry) isn’t until 2012. But Japanese anime distributor Frontier Works announced on their twitter account that they are working on a new OVA series, Higurashi no Naku Koru ni Kira.
New OVA! (Swimsuits not guaranteed.)
Not much else is known at this point, but Frontier Works promised more details on the Higurashi official website soon.
The Higurashi series has been fairly popular in Japan, with two TV anime series (Higurashi and Higurashi Ni), an OVA series (Rei), two live-action movies, and at least 19 games released for PC and consoles.
Don't sleep too soundly...
Oh, and in case you’ve been hiding under a rock, the Higurashi series includes a lot of killing and murdering and slashing and stuff. So be forewarned.
