Last year, the book “Moshi Koukou Yakyuu no Joshi Manager ga Drucker no ‘Management’ wo Yondara” (“What if a high school baseball team’s trainer read Drucker’s ‘Management’?”) became a surprise hit in the business book world. The heartwarming story of a girl who takes over as trainer (called “manager” in Japanese) for her sick friend and decides to use Peter Drucker’s business management techniques to take the team to the national high school baseball championship, “Moshidora” has sold over a million copies.

And now, just in time for the spring invitational Koushien tournament, it is becoming an anime. NHK (which airs the baseball tournament on TV in Japan) released the promotional video yesterday.
